Nathan Eddy

Nathan is interim director of the Council of Christians and Jews, a Christian minister, a dad to nearly-teenage girls, and a passionate advocate for Jews and Christians listening to each other and learning together. He also teaches Hebrew and Bible in London, where he lives.

Warren Elf

Warren Elf is freelance Rabbi working with two Reform synagogues, a founding trustee of the Forum for Discussion of Israel and Palestine (FODIP) and Director of the Faith Network for Manchester. He was awarded an MBE for services to communities in Manchester, for interfaith and community cohesion work. Until recently he thought Zoom was just an ice lolly!

Louise Ellman

Louise was born in Manchester and was first elected to public office in 1970. She was elected to Lancashire County Council in 1970 and was council leader from 1981-1997. She was Labour/Co-operative MP for Liverpool Riverside from1997-2019 and chaired the transport select committee from 2008-2017. She has chaired Labour Friends of Israel , the Jewish Labour Movement and the all party group on the B’hai’ faith. She was a council member of the Holocaust Educational Trust. Louise resigned from the Labour Party in October 2019 after 55 years membership because of Labour’s antisemitism under Jeremy Corbyn and said that he was not fit to be prime minister. She stated she would return to Labour if its antisemitism problem was resolved

Lawrence Englander

Lawrence Englander is Rabbi Emeritus of Solel Congregation of Mississauga, Canada. He holds a doctorate in Jewish Mysticism and Rabbinics and has taught a semester at Leo Baeck College in London. He is an avid fan of folk music, both by listening and singing (the latter done in private!). In 2005, he was appointed to the Order of Canada.

Harrison Engler

Harrison is the mazkir (national director) of Habonim Dror, the Socialist-Zionist youth movement. He grew up in South Manchester, and has recently graduated from Oxford University with a First in History, and served as president of the Oxford University Jewish Society. After his time with Habonim Dror, he plans to pursue a career at the Bar.

Daniel Epstein

Daniel and Ilana Epstein have been serving the Cockfosters & N. Southgate United Synagogue since June 2014 and will be moving to Western Marble Arch in Spring 2021. Daniel is involved in interfaith dialogue; adult education, political, social and economic thought and works to raise awareness of mental health challenges in the Jewish community.

Yaffa Epstein

Rabba Yaffa Epstein is the director of the Wexner Heritage Program, The Wexner Foundation. She received Orthodox rabbinic ordination from Yeshivat Maharat, and from Rabbi Daniel Landes. Yaffa is a proud Limmudnick, having presented at over forty Limmud events around the globe and virtually, and is a member of the Board of Limmud North America.
