To be human is to lie!

Richard Jacobi

Orange 11

In this week's parashah (weekly Torah portion), Vayigash, and many others, key characters lie - without consequence! Yet surely lying is wrong? We are told by our parents that we 'must tell the truth'. Inspired by Ian Leslie’s 'Born Liars' (2011), we will explore situations in which we should, possibly, lie or deceive. We will also consider when and why Judaism allows us to lie.

Natalie Grazin

Blue 32 (Millers)

We will study the SCERTS model of support for SEN young people, which helps them to understand themselves and to interact with the world in a way that creates safety for them and supports parents. A highly interactive session, with practical exercises and plenty of non-judgemental peer support from other parents whose homes and families can be challenging. A session for parents in the Family Lounge while children are in Young Limmud.
