Bat Ella collaborated with the legendary Debbie Friedman and performed with her in the USA and Europe. Their last concert together was at Limmud UK's 1995 Conference. Debbie deeply influenced Bat Ella's musical journey and her album, 'L'chi Lach', is dedicated to Debbie's songs, performed in Hebrew. A fun session with memories, stories and the Debbie's best songs!

Covid shook the London Jewish community and it exposed the health inequalities of both the mainstream Jewish community as well as the haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community. This has led to the community, NHS and UK Health Security Agency working together on health and wellbeing, and to the formation of the London Jewish Health Partnership.

As the most commonly spoken Jewish language for hundreds of years, we will trace Yiddish history through time and space and discuss the many different kinds of Jews who spoke - and continue to speak - Yiddish.
