Artscroll or porn? And other classic Yeshivish games

Noa Gendler

Red 8

From the creators of 'Who said it: Hitler or Taylor Swift?' and 'Not a Question but a Comment: Limmud Bingo' comes the new and improved 'Artscroll or Porn?' Last time, it was over too quickly. This time it's back, bigger and longer than ever before. There will be other games that at the time of writing the creators have not created. Bring a drink.

Israeli dance party! (1 of 2)

Maurice Stone  Aviva Rozenwald

Red 7

Let your hair down and have fun at our late-night Israeli dance party - a mixture of old and new, circle, line and partner dances. A lot of fun for lots of people! We start with easy dances so everyone can be included. Save your energy and join our circle!

Psychedelic sounds

Nathan Finkel

Blue 34

Lacking real friends (the other members of the Limmud House Band don't count) Nathan makes music by relying on a series of increasingly complicated machines. Using guitars, keys, drums and effects, Nathan will blend and warp different sounds into something which sounds a bit like music (risk of foot tapping / light dancing / deep relaxation).

Queer collage dreams of the future

Joe Hyman

Orange 10

Join this late-night session and explore questions like 'What does my ideal queer Jewish world look like?'. We won't be exploring these questions with words, but by cutting up paper and sticking it in fabulously surprising ways to communicate our deepest longings through the medium of collage. Bring old newspapers, magazines and sequins!

What does the wicked son mean to you anyway?

Yoni Stone  David Hochhauser

Red 4

We wicked sons have often received a hard time. Every year we are dragged through the mud for not caring about Jewish peoplehood - but perhaps there’s more to us than meets the eye? Join two wicked sons, David and Yoni, for an exploration of this facet of their identity.

The penultimate psalm

Raphael Zarum

Red 1

The last five entries of the Book of Psalms are recited in the shaharit (morning) service every single day of the year. The penultimate psalm crescendos with the grand vision and goal of the Jewish people. Through literary analysis and rabbinic insights, we will examine this captivating and astonishing psalm.
