Burlesque 101: body confidence and boldness

Lucy Cohen

Red 7

Behind the rhinestones, feathers, tassels and boas, burlesque is all about confidence, boldness, body positivity and being brave enough to be silly and a little sexy. In this workshop we will explore movement, dance and basic burlesque technique as way to get in touch with our fabulous selves and alter egos! There is no nudity. 18 years+ only.

Curly haired Q&A and other stories - meet Limmud's new staff

Have your say! A discussion forum for parents and family of LGBT+ people

Dalia Fleming  Sarah Bronzite

At KeshetUK we often receive requests to run sessions specifically for parents. We are currently creating these workshops and would love your help in designing them! Please join us to tell us what content you would like us to include, what sort of questions you need answered and what's important to you in supporting the LGBT+ people in your life.

Limmud knitting circle

Sydney Switzer

Yellow 22

Bring your textile projects for a chance to unwind, share what you’re working on and get help from others. This is a space to relax, share and meet other people who like to do things with their hands. Everyone welcome, even if you’re just curious to see what’s going on.

Make your own golem

Isaac Brynjegard-Bialik  Shawna Brynjegard-Bialik

Yellow 21

The Jewish myth of the 'golem' used secret magic to create protection in difficult times. Come and make your own golem out of cut-up comic books with Isaac and Shawna Brynjegard-Bialik in a hands-on papercutting workshop that includes learning about the legend of the golem. No art experience, clay or magic spells are required - just your enthusiasm!

Monologue slam – made by you! (3 of 4)

Rachel Creeger

We want to home grow our talent, so this is a new initiative for Limmudniks who’d like to perform their poetry, monologue, comedy or music but aren’t ready to present a full session. Sign up for a slot, an optional prep session will be available. Not an author? Join the audience, support our stars!

Share your recipe with the Jewish Food Hero community

Kenden Alfond

Orange 10

We'll share information about the Jewish Food Hero blog series, 'Community Recipes', and allow participants to share their recipe ideas for the blog. The more we share recipes with our community, the richer we will be! Even if just a little part of you is thinking 'I’d like to share a recipe', I'd love you to come to this session.
