After the Flood: a novel interpretation of early Genesis

Greg Davidson

Red 5

If we take the pshat (surface reading) of Genesis as our story 'Bible', what tales might be told? What might Noah’s son Shem see in the 500 years he lived after the Flood? What beliefs would they have if they hadn’t received the Torah? How does Abram and Sarai’s world emerge from Babel? Let’s discuss world-building ideas, then I’ll share a brief Midrashic interpretation.

Gam Ki Elech – music for the moment

Miriam-Simma Walfish

Red 3

The words of our liturgy can comfort our hearts, soothe our souls and give us space to feel, process and begin healing sadness and pain we carry. In this session we will sink into a few melodies set to the words of Psalms from Rabbi Ilan Glazer's forthcoming album in the hope that we can find wholeness and peace together.

Introducing QiGong: the art of balancing mind and body

Irene Fröhlich-Wiener

Orange 10

I’m passionate about sharing my 40 years' experience with QiGong (also called 'the art of effortless energy'). At the age of 76, it helps me to keep energetic, feel very alive and balanced. Best of all: it’s easy to learn, you feel the benefits almost instantly and you need only enough space to spread your arms. A bit of theory, healing self-massage and practical movements to get your energy flowing. You’ll love it!
