Over recent months a puzzling Gen-Z subculture has emerged, touting the benefits of being 'delulu' (delusional). In this session, we will consider delulu culture alongside Jewish texts about the coming of Mashiach (Messiah), in search of a theology of fervent optimism in a world full of despair.

From our ancestors in Genesis to Moses to many others, Tanach (the Jewish Bible) is replete with people who experience disability, whether physical, emotional or developmental. We will explore some of these significant people in Tanach and how their disabilities impacted their lives. This hermeneutic is very helpful for disabled people like the presenter of this session.
