Are Jews an Ethnic Minority in British Law? Case Law from the 1980s

There is a widespread belief that Jews are treated as an ethnic group in British law. This session will consider this claim, through case law rulings from 1982 and 1983. We will read these fascinating rulings in detail, considering how the British legal system has thought about Jews and how they continue to shape Jewish identity.
