On October 7, 2023, Avi survived Hamas’ terror attack at his home in Kibbutz Nirim; he and his family are currently displaced persons in temporary accommodation. Avi has become a leading voice in advocating for the return of the hostages, and continues his call for human rights and peace across the region.

Hear from a panel of young Jews living with IBD (@jewswithibd) about how it effects their daily lives and how they practice their Judaism with an opportunity for questions at the end.

She’ll be sharing personal stories and poems from people killed during the war in Gaza. This is a safe and supportive space to share, discuss, and ask questions.

We’ll sing and move as we map the the Kabbalistic tree of life / “sphirot” onto our bodies, align them with the Vedic “chakra” system, and explore their relevance to the Amidah/daily life. We’ll use breath, chant, visualization, mindfulness and motion.
