Following on from my presentation last year about "Close Shaves with Shabbat and Kashrut" in which I described how I manage my Jewish observance when travelling I'll be planning to take that one stage further and discuss how one might be an observant Jew in space (or on the Moon or one of the planets).

A video presentation of unique footage from a documentary film/archival video project on the history of the Jewish East End of London. Interviews with some well-known & lesser-known elders sharing stories & memories, such as some hilarious Jewish women discussing street markets in the therapeutic memory room of (what was) Beaumont Grove care home.

Tzlila means “a dive”. Take a plunge into an oasis of self-reflection & connection with living sound. Tamar and Raya have developed the Tzlila method over the last decade and have taken it around Israel. A session dedicated to deep well-being, using the breath, relaxing restorative poses, accompanied by beautiful piano and sung words in Hebrew.
Hotel Lobby
For those who want to stretch their legs as well as their minds, we will go for about a run lasting around just under an hour. We can discuss sessions, Judaism, our running schedules or just enjoy getting outside. Be prepared to get muddy.

Zhineng Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice combining physical movements, controlled breathing, and meditation to promote mental and physical health. Its aim is to enhance Qi flow, balance body and mind, improve health, increase mental clarity, and relaxation. Key elements include slow movements, visualization, and absorbing universal energy.
