Deborah works with schools across Norfolk and Suffolk for classroom sessions and visits to Norwich Synagogue. She has contact with thousands of non-Jewish children each year and is passionate about bringing Jewish traditions to life as a living religion and to encourage understanding and tolerance of different communities.

Ariel is Executive Director of KeshetUK, working to ensure no one is forced to choose between their LGBT+ and Jewish identity. Ariel recently joined the organisation having worked in inclusion and diversity leadership for nearly ten years with a particular focus on Jewish and LGBT+ inclusion in higher education and the workplace.

Geoffrey Charin is a navy veteran, British/Israeli accountant and novelist with a first degree from the Hebrew University. He also holds a PhD from Buckingham University on the subject of British-Jewish relations in Palestine in the face of the German invasion threats of 1941-2.

Maurice Chernick |

Maurice Chernick was born in Manchester and grew up in Liverpool. He started his working life as a composer and actor in theatre before opting for a career in teaching. In 1997, Maurice created the Jewish music group SHIR as clarinettist and singer and he has been collaborating as composer with playwright Diane Samuels since 2013.

Mayta tours nationally, teaching at elite training camp A Cappella Academy, and at Hava Nashira, a premier song-leading conference.

Mark helps companies with global Risk and Ethics. He taught Jewish Education and IT at multiple levels. A regular speaker, discussion and prayer leader at Barnet Synagogue, he taught Barmitzvah boys for 40 years. Married to fabulous comedian, Rachel Creeger, they share two wonderful boys, a marvellous daughter-in-law, and a fabulous grandson.
