Talia Rasiel (she/her) is the youth director at a modern Orthodox congregation in Washington, DC. She is in her third and final year in the Master of Jewish Education program at Hebrew College. She graduated with a BA in Jewish Studies from American University, where her thesis research focused on the Open Mikveh Movement.

Ten years ago Jo studied Talmud for the first time and was paired with a stranger called Lev. Since then she has lived with him, founded a thriving Yeshiva with him, matchmade over 100 people together and been married by him (to her wife). She is so excited to teach Talmud with Lev this Limmud and wishes you all a chavruta so fortuitous.

Design and technology teacher by day, performer by night, always a pickle enthusiast. Lucy is a burlesque performer and cabaret producer as 'Susan', creating nights and acts that are unapologetically queer, Jewish and celebrate fat liberation. You can find Lucy attending and teaching at Queer Yeshiva, on welcoming at Ohel Moed or, most likely, in Finchley Waitrose.

With a background in Literature and Library Science, Samantha now manages the Library and Archives at LSJS. A keen bibliophile, Sam enjoys both literature and books as physical art forms. Sam has written and performed stand up comedy, and promises to bring a novel, entertaining new voice to her literary and academic presentations.

Yvonne is a retired Special Needs teacher, SENCO and Hebrew teacher. She is a member of Finchley Reform Synagogue. She chaired a Family Carers group for the last 4 years and has been a Chai Cancer Care volunteer for about 8 years, helping in their Art class and as a Phone Friend. She enjoys art, baking and swimming and this will be her 17th Limmud!

Aviva Richman is a rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva at the Hadar Institute. She studied in the Pardes Kollel and the Drisha Scholars' Circle, receiving ordination from Rabbi Danny Landes. She has also completed a doctorate in Talmud at NYU. Her interests include Talmud, Halachah, Midrash, and gender, and a healthy dose of nigunim!

A thirty year career in banking provides Bruce with a unique combination of finance and people management experience. He researches how the behavioural sciences can impact motivation. He has an MSc in Behavioural and Economic Science (Warwick 2018) and an MBA in Finance (Chicago 1989). Bruce was Co-Chair of NNLS and is VP of Masorti Europe.

Lex Rofeberg is the co-host and producer of the Judaism Unbound podcast, and leads Judaism Unbound's UnYeshiva: a digital centre for Jewish learning and unlearning. He is a rabbi, ordained through the Jewish Renewal movement. Lex grew up in the Midwestern United States (Wisconsin) and now resides in Providence, Rhode Island.

Simon Rosenstone is severely visually impaired (almost from birth) but this does not stop him from enjoying life to the full. This includes sky diving and bungee jumping amongst other things. He loves playing UNO, with a set identical to a normal one but with braille markings! It is a great game for all ages.
