Playback theatre is a community-oriented genre that invites audience members to share personal stories and have them 'played back': reflected, processed, deconstructed, dreamed. This is a way for groups to help members work through difficult moments and emotions. We will learn and practise basic playback tools and perform for each other.

Three stories: a staged war scene that forces villagers in the Golan Heights to flee; weapons planted in a Palestinian home in East Jerusalem for an action scene; and a props‑and‑weapons man wrestling with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and moral wounds. The film scrutinises how militarism influences Israeli film and society. Winner of the Film Special Jury Award, DocAviv 2025.
