Orange 15

Today, the Jewish community's number one agenda item is the fight to counter antisemitism. Few would disagree that there has been a serious spike in Jew-hatred over the past few years. . New Israel Fund

Orange 13

On 7th October, Liat Beinin Atzili was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz. 'Holding Liat' follows her family’s unique and painful journey to bring Liat home through diplomacy, clashing perspectives and agonising uncertainty. A portrait of grief and humanity, it calls for compassion and reconciliation. Screening followed by discussion with the New Israel Fund team.

God's Book of War: The Hebrew Bible as a Military Manual

Lynette Nusbacher

Yellow 21

The Book of Devarim references the mysterious 'Book of God's Wars', a now-lost book of Tanach. This would be a great title for the Tanach itself! The Tanach is an instruction manual for battles, raids, patrols, sieges, communications, logistics, leadership (good and bad) and intelligence. This discussion is for all religious orientations or none.
