Worshipping golden cows; pining for Egypt; thirsting for meat - the behaviour of the Jews in the desert is hard to understand. But the broad support for the Korach rebellion is particularly baffling. Traditional sources ask what motivated Korach to start his rebellion. But we will focus on why it was so popular, and what that means for us today.

The workshop opens with a short talk on the first verse of the Shema prayer, in its revealed and hidden meanings. The main focus is practice - through body, breath and mind. Meditating on Hebrew letters, their shapes, sounds and spiritual resonance, as well as Divine Names, we will experience the Unity of Being.
