Alec Nacamuli was born in Alexandria. He chairs Sephardi Voices UK – an oral history project preserving the memories of Jews who left Arab countries and settled in the UK – and is a council member of the Nebi Daniel International Association striving to protect the Jewish heritage in Egypt. He is a volunteer guide on Egyptology at the British Museum.

She received her BSc in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and was a 2018 Fellow of the Ruskay Institute for Jewish Professional Leadership.
