This summer, Teka's name has been referenced again. Hear activist and educator Shula Mola, one of the Ethiopian-Israeli community's leading advocates.

The Jews from Egypt: Exodus, second Exodus and… return!

There are around 10 Jews in Egypt from a community which numbered 85,000, but the Egyptian government spent $4 million to restore the Eliahu Hanavi synagogue in Alexandria. Last February 180 Jews returned for Shabbat. The talk will cover the history of Jews in Egypt, the preparations and highlights of the trip, and the emotions of the participants.

Using concepts from the world of theatre improvisation and couples therapy, we will learn how to better send and receive emotional bids that are the basis of human relationships.
