Korach: fascist demagogue or community organiser?

Korach is the classic villain of the Torah, but a midrash recorded in a Yemenite manuscript calls this into question. Was he actually a defender of the people against the excesses of a tyrannical (and possibly abusive) Aaron? This session will explore Korach's midrashim and maybe, just maybe, exonerate him.

A live virtual encounter with Israeli Arab society and culture that uses a combination of storytelling journey and person-to-person encounter to meet an Arab young person, hear their story and learn about their community. Participants will learn about Arab society and efforts to create a Jewish-Arab shared society in Israel.
