1391: How the anti-jewish riots in Spain led to Inquisition and expulsion

This session will describe one of the most widespread and least-known outbreaks of anti-Jewish violence in medieval Europe, in a country in which Jews had lived for over 1,000 years, regarded as one in which they enjoyed greatest freedom and success; how it became the precursor to the tragedies of Inquisition and the expulsion of 1492.

Building social cohesion through interfaith camping

From 26-30 August 2019, Camp Unity Borehamwood hosted 35 children in a multicultural, multi-faith residential camping experience. Our focus was on building social cohesion at the grass roots level and uniting a local community that is robust but self-segregating. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Is this a model to be replicated elsewhere?
