This session will use Bergson's understanding of time as duration and memory to help us analyse the kabbalistic notion of shefa, existence as flow. The Industry of Lies: Myths & facts about the Israeli-Arab conflict

When scholars claim that Israel commits genocide, when activists claim that Israel is an apartheid state - they lie. Yemini presents his research, as a peace activist, against the 'Industry of Lies', which is a main obstacle to peace.

The lost Jews and synagogue, of Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales

This well illustrated session evokes the life and times of the 'lost' Jewish community of Merthyr Tydfil, once the the foremost Jewish community in Wales, and updates current efforts by JTrails and FJH to save the former Gothic synagogue, both the oldest surviving synagogue building in Wales and one of the most visually outstanding in the UK.

Israel's only Yiddish theatre company will explore the life story of Yiddish poet Mordechai Gebirtig - his life story in the mirror of his poems. The performance will feature songs in Yiddish, with English captions.
