Lies, misinformation and manipulation became part of the public discourse about the Israeli-Arab conflict. When scholars claim that Israel commits genocide, when activists claim that Israel is an apartheid state - they lie. Yemini presents his research, as a peace activist, against the 'Industry of Lies', which is a main obstacle to peace.

This well illustrated session evokes the life and times of the 'lost' Jewish community of Merthyr Tydfil, once the the foremost Jewish community in Wales, and updates current efforts by JTrails and FJH to save the former Gothic synagogue, both the oldest surviving synagogue building in Wales and one of the most visually outstanding in the UK.
