Sharren Haskel has been a Member of Knesset representing Likud since 2015. Born in Canada, she is a Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee. Prior to this, she served in the Border Patrol and trained as a vet in Australia.

Rabbi Judith Hauptman is the E. Billi Ivry Professor Emerita of Talmud and Rabbinic Culture at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. She is the author of three books and numerous articles. Her volume, "Rereading the Rabbis, A Woman's Voice" (1998), has been called a founding work of the new Jewish feminism.
