Professor Ilan Zvi Baron is co-director of the Centre for the Study of Jewish Culture, Society and Politics at Durham University. Originally from Canada, he has lived in the UK, Spain, and Israel. His interests include post-truth politics, Israeli cookbooks, violence, the Jewish Diaspora and Israel, dystopia, and political responsibility.

Originally from NJ, after finishing his BA in Public Policy Jeremy joined the Peace Corps and served in Ukraine. Since then he has worked for the JDC in Kiev, received a certificate in Experiential Education from Pardes, worked for Moishe House, and received Semicha from R’ Landes. Jeremy is currently the Director of Jewish Learning for Base Berlin.
