Dov Laimon

Dov Laimon is a sofer sta”m and teacher living in Jerusalem. He teaches hands-on learning of the skill of writing the Hebrew letters in the Ashkenazi tradition, combined with text learning presenting halachic, midrashic and kabbalistic perspectives on the nature of the letters (‘otiot’).

Philip LaZebnik

Philip Lazebnik's screenwriting credits include Disney’s Pocahontas and Mulan, and DreamWorks’ Prince of Egypt, as well as the TV series Wings and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He wrote the book for the theatrical version of Prince of Egypt with Stephen Schwartz, which opened in London’s West End at the Dominion Theatre on February 25, 2020.

Samuel Lebens

Samuel Lebens is a philosopher at the University of Haifa and, in addition to his academic work, is an Orthodox rabbi. He has taught at many Limmud events and in Jewish communities around the world. Born in England, he now lives with his wife and children in Haifa. He co-founded the Association for the Philosophy of Judaism, and his book "The Principles of Judaism" is published shortly.

Jeremy Leigh

Jeremy Leigh is the director of Israel of Studies at the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem. Since moving to Israel from UK in 1992, he has worked in the field of Jewish educational travel: writing materials, guiding groups and training educators. He established Jewish Journeys in 2002, and author of the book "Jewish Journeys" (Haus, London, 2006).

Amy-Jill Levine

University Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies/Mary Jane Werthan Professor of Jewish Studies (Vanderbilt). First Jew to teach New Testament at Rome’s Pontifical Biblical Institute. Author of The Misunderstood Jew, Short Stories by Jesus, The Jewish Annotated New Testament (co-editor M.Brettler), and four children’s books (with S.Sasso).
