Leonid Okneanski

Leonid Okneanski is an ardent Limmudnik. He was born in Moldova, received his education in Bulgaria and the US, and lives in Amsterdam. In his Limmud-free time Leonid works as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and manages assets for pension funds, companies, and charities.

Mark Oppenheimer is editor at large for Tablet and hosts its hit podcast, Unorthodox. He holds a PhD from Yale, where he now teaches, and has written three books, including "Thirteen and a Day: The Bar and Bat Mitzvah Across America." For 6 years, he was religion columnist for The New York Times.

Tamir Oren

Tamir is the Executive Director of StandWithUs UK. Tamir initiated The StandWithUs UK Leadership programme, to empower students to be informed, active and articulate future leaders. Tamir is a reserve duty officer in the Paratrooper’s brigade and commands 140 soldiers in reserve duty.

Ged is a co-producer of the "Whitewashed" documentary and a director of Kitty Hawk Press Limited, publisher of "Whitewashed" (the book). Ged is a trustee of several charities including StandWithUs UK and the Estelle Trust.

Yoav Oved

Yoav sings around London, promoting unity through music by combining Ashkenazi and Mizrakhi music in concerts. He also sings in many shuls, as a soloist and chorister. He is also a Hebrew teacher at WLS, Halcyon, and Spiro Ark. Yoav enjoys dancing salsa and bachata in his spare time.

Eli is chief executive of Limmud. Representing Limmud globally, he supports the development of Limmud and its volunteers. Eli is a Captain (res) in the IDF Spokespersons Unit. He has lectured widely, working to strengthen global Jewish life. Eli served in organisations including JU, TIP and JDC.
