Gabby Edlin is the founder of Bloody Good Period, an organisation that provides period supplies for asylum seekers, refugees and those who can't afford them.

Sheila Eizensharf

Sheila was born in Israel, grew up in Latvia, joining an Israeli dance performance troupe at 13. She has taught Israeli dance for 6 years to children, teenagers, students & adults, organising “Riga Rokedet” Baltic dance workshop. About to get a masters in Human Resources; in “real life” works in HR.

Benjamin Ellis

Benjamin helped establish and is now chair of KeshetUK, the organisation working so that no one should ever have to choose between their Jewish and LGBT+ identity. He enjoys cycling, swimming, cooking vegetarian food, and sings in Jewish and LGBT+ choirs.

Ilan Emanuel

Ilan was born in the US, raised in the UK, and returned to the US to study at Hebrew Union College where he was ordained as a Reform rabbi in 2005. He has served congregations in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Toronto, Ontario, and is currently the rabbi of Congregation Beth Israel in Corpus Christi Texas.

Daniel Epstein

Daniel Epstein has been leading the 1,100 member Cockfosters and N Southgate United Synagogue since June 2014, together with his wife Ilana. Governor at JFS School, rabbinic educator for the Holocaust Educational Trust, initiator of Mental Health Awareness Shabbat and excited about Anglo Jewry.

Ilana Epstein is head of Project Development for the Jewish Living Department at the United Synagogue, rebbetzen at Cockfosters & N Southgate Synagogue, educator on March of the Living UK, member of the US Women’s executive, qualified pastry chef, lover of history, sought-after speaker, mum of four.

Yaffa Epstein

Yaffa serves as the Director of Education, N.A. for the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. She received Rabbinic ordination from Yeshivat Maharat, and holds a law degree from Bar Ilan. She loves Talmud, and helping others to love it! She has participated in over 25 Limmud events on 5 continents.

Lucas Espinosa Menendez

Lucas is a photographer by vocation, design anthropologist by profession, Talmudist aficionado. He holds Colombian and Spanish Passports and is a Danish resident. Lucas has worked in UK, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.

Karen Ettinger

Karen Ettinger leads educational projects of the National Library of Israel. Born in Birmingham, England, Karen made aliyah at the age of 11. She has a master's degree in Learning Technologies and has acquired many years of experience in the field of online education and instructional design.

Estelle Eugene

Estelle Eugene has been offering yoga sessions at Limmud for many years. She worked as administrator for the Yakar Educational Foundation and co-founded the Jewish Yoga Network with Marcus Freed.

David Evans

David is an Emmy-nominated, multi-award-winning director of film and television, both drama and documentary. He is a big fan of Limmud, having attended the Limmud Festival/Conference for each of the last eighteen years.

Michael Even David

Mijael was born in Chile, made Aliyah in 2005, and did rabbinical and MA studies in Jerusalem. He held positions in Omer, Ashkelon, and Karmiel in Israel, and was Noam Israel's rabbi. Today he is the rabbi of Edgware Masorti Synagogue. He is married to Raya and father of two children.

Raya Even David

Raya is an informal Jewish educator currently employed by Edgware Masorti Synagogue and previously was head of Jewish Studies in Alma Primary School, Raya moved to London 3.5 years ago from Israel and is married to Mijael Even David. Together they have two children; Hallel aged 3.5 and Yair aged 2.
